Point Reyes National Seashore an hour away from my home is cold, foggy, full of poison oak, with crumbly cliffs, impassable trails, flash floods, unpredictable sneaker waves, rip tides, sharks, mountain lions, rutting elk, vicious stud bulls, giant black vultures, venomous snakes, and armed federal rangers — don’t go there!
